Children with ADHD need guidance and understanding from their parents, families, and teachers to reach their full potential and to succeed. For school-age children, frustration, blame, and anger may have built up within a family before a child is diagnosed.
Our ADHD program includes:
– Comprehensive behavioral and developmental evaluations
– Vanderbilt Assessment Scales for parents and teachers
– Individualized treatment plans including behavioral strategies
– Medication management when appropriate
– Coordination with schools for 504 plans and IEPs
– Ongoing monitoring and follow-up appointments
– Parent education on ADHD and effective parenting strategies
